Promotional Carpenter Pencils Carpenter Pencils are great items to order as promotional products. If you own any type of lumber or building company, carpenter pencils are a no-brainer to purchase. But they’re also good to hand out at trade shows. Most pencils are inexpensive to order, and Carpenter Pencils are no different. Carpenter Pencils are also good because they come in different colors of lead, which will add to their convenience and use. Carpenter Pencils are also good items to order because they’re small and will take up a minimal amount of room on your trade show table. Another advantage to Promotional being small is that you can put them in packages with other items. Any time you have an opportunity to hand out bags or packages with multiple promotional items in them you should. Most of the time the items in the promotional bag are all fairly inexpensive, so you can afford to buy a lot of different ones and hand them out in bunches. This works to your advantage because it increases the number of times people will see your logo. So, why not order Carpenter Pencils and pass them out both individually and in bags? We would be happy to discuss your next promotional project with you and we promise when you order Carpenter Pencils or any other items that we will have the lowest price the first time and every time after that! Carpenter Pencils Carpenter pencils, sometimes known as Carpentry pencils and Carpenter's pencils usually have a rectangular body that stops the pencil from rolling or blowing away. They have a rectangular core which allows thin or thick lines to be drawn by simply rotating the pencil. Carpenter Pencils are usually sharpened with a knife, due to their flat shape, though recently a fixed-blade device with a rotatable collar has become available. A Little Carpenter Pencil History Carpenter Pencils originated by an Italian couple named Simonio and Lindiana Bernacotti as they were believed to be the ones to create the first blueprints for the modern carpenter pencil for the purpose of marking their carpentry pieces, however, their version was instead a flat, oval, more compact type of carpenter pencil. It has been said they did this at first by hollowing out a stick of juniper wood. Shortly thereafter, a superior technique was discovered: two wooden halves were carved, a plumbago stick inserted, and the two halves then glued together — essentially this is the same method in use to this day. Lines are drawn faint and fine for accuracy and are later easy to erase. It's also made to be much stronger than other pencils.
